Our Story

The Five is not just a martial arts brand. It is the result of a journey that began long before the first product.

My life has been shaped by martial arts for many years. I started with Wing Tsun and trained for nine years. Afterwards, my path led me to kickboxing and Muay Thai. I became German champion in kickboxing and had the opportunity to fight in Thailand at Rawai Stadium and Bangla Stadium. Martial arts taught me discipline, patience, and the will to never give up.

But The Five was not born solely out of a passion for the sport.

Long before the events of October 7th, we stood for the freedom of Palestine. For us, "Free Palestine" was never a trend, but a conviction. This stance is also reflected in the design of our products. The Kufiya-inspired pattern stands for identity, steadfastness, and resistance against oppression. It is a symbol with history and meaning.

The name The Five stands for the five pillars of Islam. They remind me every day of values such as sincerity, discipline, patience, gratitude, and responsibility. These values should not only shape my life but also the brand.

To realize this dream, I had to make sacrifices. I sold my motorcycle to raise the necessary capital to start. After that, a months-long journey began. I corresponded with manufacturers all over the world, had prototypes made, and tested countless samples. Many did not meet my expectations. I could have chosen the easy way – but I didn't want to. I kept going until I held a product in my hands that I could stand behind one hundred percent.

Quality was never negotiable for me.

The Five should be more than just clothing or martial arts equipment. I want to build a community that stands for strength, character, and solidarity. A brand that inspires people to grow beyond themselves – in training, in life, and in faith.

With every purchase, you not only support a young brand. You help make a vision a reality. Our goal is to support more and more social projects in the future and help people who need our support. Today, we already donate a portion of our proceeds to humanitarian aid in Palestine – and that's just the beginning.

When you wear The Five, you don't just wear a logo.

You wear a story.
You wear values.
You wear conviction.
